Dear Miss Powell, I am a professional and I would like my family to move to Canada. The problem is that I don't have a job offer. I have paid two companies to help me find a job and nothing. Why do Jamaicans have to do an English Exam? Why do I have to do an English exam to Immigrate to Canada? I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the UWI and a Master’s Degree from UOL. Why do I need to sit an English exam when I am from an English speaking country and have a Master’s degree?  What is this IELTS? Can I do the exam online?
