FIND OUT IF YOU QUALIFY TO LIVE IN TO CANADA click here and complete our free assessment form . Dear Miss Powell, I have been with a Canadian woman for the past three years. We always go back and forth over the years. When I came up to visit her in April, she convinced me to stay with her and she said that she has put in the sponsorship application and so I don’t need to go back down as the papers are being processed by her lawyer. I told her I’m not used to just staying at home and that I can’t just stay home and wait on her, hand and foot, while the papers and processed. I need to work. One of my friends said he doesn’t think she put the papers in and that she's just looking a yard boy to spoil her. I told him I trust her and that I gave her the picture and the police record to send in. He asked me if I signed anything and that’s when I got worried. AE Dear AE Canada has many immigration programmes under which qualified individuals can move to Canada with their family. Although the programmes were revised, they were not 'scrapped'. The government continues to select skilled workers based on factors which they deem to be indicators that applicants are likely to integrate into the society and contribute to the economy. The most popular pathway to permanent residence and ultimately citizenship are the economic programmes, which are now managed by the express entry system. Th...
